Arnhem Coast Cleanup

Overview

Joining an Arnhem Coast Cleanup is a great way to meet new people while in East Arnhem Land, and see the beautiful Waṉuwuy (Cape Arnhem). Arnhem Coast Cleanups are free to join, family-friendly and inclusive; it is great seeing children, teens, students of all ages, adults and seniors come along and get involved with being part of the change our local communities and eco-systems need. 

Make sure you register below to help with catering and logistics.

Register

  • Location at the beach will be set by Dhimirru Aboriginal Corporation
  • Dhimurru Visitor Access Permit required only
  • Meet at the Gravel Pit 8am (Turn off to Cape Arnhem at Gulkula Mine/Central Arnhem Road turnoff)
  • BYO 4WD recovery gear, some air compressors available
  • If you don’t have a 4WD – mention it on the registration link, the Arnhem Coast Cleanup group will find you a seat
  • Plenty of support if you are new to driving in sand
  • Simple BBQ lunch will be provided
  • Sun Protection ++++ BYO water and snacks
  • Rubbish bags will be provided, BYO gloves if you like to use them
