The Nhulunbuy Rotary Club’s annual Beach Volleyball Tournament is not to be missed! Held only a five-minute drive from Nhulunbuy at the beautiful Middle Beach this event sees about 30 teams enter from across the region. This fun filled event is a great family day out.

There are plenty of activities on the day for all ages including the famous 100m sand sprint, dance competitions and much more! Food and drinks are available for purchase as well as a licensed bar to purchase alcoholic beverages. The Gove Peninsula Surf Lifesaving Club patrols the beach on the day to ensure the safety of the beach goers.

All profits from the day are kindly donated by Nhulunbuy Rotary Club to local charities, sporting bodies and community groups within the region.

All participants and spectators must have a current Visitor Access Permit, which can be obtained through Dhimurru Aboriginal Corporation.
