No trip to Nhulunbuy is complete without getting on the world’s most beautiful harbour. R&G Charters will take you in a small group or private charter to the best fishing spots on the Gove Peninsula. Get up close to the best sights and nature.

The R&G Charter’s team have over 11 years of fishing experience around the Gove Harbour and will ensure a great fishing experience. Your guide will gladly clean, gut and prepare your fish to take home for you ready to enjoy.

Their 8.2m custom-built vessel is made for fishing the Gove Harbour and allows for fishing at all tide levels and access to estuaries, mud flats, mangroves, reefs, wrecks and live bating while ensuring your comfort and safety to deliver the experience of a lifetime. Their vessel is regularly maintained and equipped with equipment to meet all NT marine safety regulations. R&G Charters strictly adhere to NT fishing bag limits and encourage a catch and release policy for anglers not able to keep their catch.

Cold water, bait and top-quality rods, reels and tackle and wet weather wear (if required) are supplied on all charters. Please bring your own food, snacks, drinks and alcohol. A free pick-up service is available if you require transport to the boat ramp.

Arnhem Land including Nhulunbuy is Aboriginal land and you require a liquor permit to purchase and drink liquor on the land. Applying for a liquor license before arriving in Arnhem Land is recommended.

A maximum of 8 people (including infants) are permitted on board due to current COVID-19 restrictions
